Tip1: I apply JOM Hair Softener. I make neat hair blocks (amaphondo) so that l do not have to wait for hair to dry. I leave “maphondo” to dry and continue with my day-to-day activities.

Tip 2: Every night before bed I apply JOM Hair Moisturiser on hair and scalp, comb hair and do neat good night blocks ( amaphodo) just incase I do not have time in the morning l can leave looking neat. If you have short hair you do not have to do good night blocks.

Tip 3: Never ever dry your natural hair while simultaneously combing it as it causes hair breakage and dryness of scalp. This leads to dandruff, very dry and falling hair.

When I put on braids I always tell the person who is braiding my hair not to pull my hair too hard, particularly the hair line. Everyday I spray my braids with JOM Braids & Dreadlock spray. This spray nourishes and strengthens my hair underneath the fiber. JO’M Braids & Dreadlock spray prevents hair from knotting/tangling when I remove braids I can comb immediately with ease. I wash my braids every 2 weeks with the JOM 2-in-1 JOM hair shampoo.

Use JOM beeswax to start, twist or treat your dreadlocks. JOM beeswax help your dreadlocks retain their natural colour without developing white spots on your dreadlocks. To maintain your dreadlocks use JOM dreadlocks oil cream and massage dreads & scalp. For moisture use JOM braids & dreadlocks spray.

If you do not wish to straighten or relax you kids hair, JOM is perfect for you. Use the same products I use. I am using JOM hair softener afro pack and JOM hair moisturiser see above. If you struggle to comb your kid’s hair especially boys, use JOM 2-in-1 hair shampoo and JOM hair moisturizer. Combing sessions will become as pleasant as playtime.
